IBCCES is a 3rd party company that only verifies the validity of documentation provided by a medical professional. This should be completed by a parent or guardian. It is important to provide documentation that supports the need for accommodation. Once the documentation is uploaded and verified, the child’s parent/guardian will receive an email stating “approved”. “"Approved" means that our Universal Destinations and Experiences Guest Accessibility team is approved to then reach out to the parent/guardian to ask them to screen questions. They will never ask for a diagnosis but will ask how it prevents the student from waiting in line. They will then determine the most appropriate accommodation for Universal Studios Hollywood. Should it be a mobility concern, such as an injury, surgery, standing/walking, they will be recommended a mobility device. Should any other accommodation be more appropriate, they will be given a case number to present to Guest Relations.
A chaperone must be present when speaking to Guest Relations regarding accommodation and the Accessibility Card.
